How I look after your details.

What I collect

When you send the enquiry form I receive what you type into it: your names, email, the date, the place, what kind of day it is, and anything you write about it.

The form also notes how you reached the site, if your browser tells it: the page you landed on, the site that sent you, and any campaign tags in the link (for example from a Google or Instagram ad). This tells me which of my ads and posts are worth paying for.

Why

To answer your enquiry, check my calendar, and if you book, to plan and photograph your day and deliver your gallery. I do not sell your details, and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it is kept

Your enquiry arrives in my email (Google Workspace) and a copy is kept in a database on Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site. The confirmation email you receive is sent through Resend. Some of these services store data outside Australia.

I am the only person who reads your enquiry.

Measuring

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies today. It keeps two small notes in your own browser: the link that first brought you here, and the last ad or campaign link you arrived from. The enquiry form sends both with your message. Clearing your browser data removes it.

If I add tools from Google or Meta to measure my ads, I will name them here first.

Your photographs

If you book, your photographs are delivered through Pic-Time. I only show your photographs on this site or on social media with your permission.

Seeing, changing or deleting your details

Email me at hello@gurvindernirmaan.com and I will tell you what I hold, correct it, or delete it. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your details, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
